Inquiry in the College follows the four undergraduate fields. Work is expected to be both careful and useful.
Students and staff read, write, and test ideas in the same rooms — a quiet discipline, not a display of novelty. The College does not list rankings, league tables, named chairs, or claimed partnerships with overseas universities. Research is judged by whether it can be taught, examined, and put to responsible use in Africa.
Lines of inquiry
These are fields of work, not named laboratories, and they carry no claim of rank. They follow the teaching of the College.

How networks, records, and services fail under pressure, and how they may be restored without concealment.

Ledger infrastructure
Distributed record as a public instrument: consensus, inspection, and the limits of the form.

The gathering of data, the honesty of a model, and the sentence that may be said of either.

Learning systems whose limits can be stated, and whose use can be answered for.
